What Is an ECG at ApoorvaDiagnostics?
An electrocardiogram (ECG) records the electrical activity of the heart using small sticky electrodes placed on the chest, arms and legs. The test is painless, takes only a few minutes and helps a doctor check the heart's rhythm and look for signs of strain or reduced blood supply.
ECG is included in several of our health packages, including the Annual Health Package, Advanced Diabetic Profile, Kidney Function Package, Liver Health Check-up and Well Women Check-up.

Resting ECG
A quick recording taken while you lie still and relaxed.
TMT (Treadmill Test)
ECG recorded while you walk on a treadmill at increasing speed, to see how the heart responds to exercise.
2D Echo
An ultrasound of the heart that shows its chambers, valves and pumping strength.
Cardiac Health Package
Lipid profile, Troponin I, ECG, 2D Echo and TMT together for Rs 3000.
Preparing for Your ApoorvaDiagnostics Heart Test
- Wear a loose top that is easy to open or remove for placing electrodes.
- Avoid applying oil or lotion on the chest on the day of the test.
- For a TMT, wear comfortable shoes, avoid a heavy meal just before the test, and tell us about any heart, joint or breathing problems.
- Bring a list of the medicines you take and any previous ECG or echo reports.
